Business case
INTRON Certification
website

Goal
To turn a 10% loss into a 15% profit by redesigning the primary process of inspections, auditing, account management and back-office administration.

Results
1. redefining responsibilities: put them where they can be dealt with the best
2. providing (automation) tools based on clients and projects
3. lowering the back-office workload for 35 certification schemes by 50%

Description
INTRON Certification is known for their content and quality-based expertise in certifying building industries, products, processes and individuals. Over 30 people work for more than 35 certification schemes. Although it is highly standardized, exceptions rule the day. Although everything is al routine, automation is limited and despite the fact that the account managers are in the lead, decisions are put off more often.

By redefining the responsibilities, eliminating non-essential steps, automating of document handling and  designing for the similarities and not the exceptions, we have restructured the primary process.

Coaching of all the people involved, change management, leadership are key words to describe our role during this process.
